A plank is an isometric core strength exercise that involves maintaining a position similar to a push-up for the maximum possible time. A plank is simple but effective bodyweight exercise. You can perform by holding the body stiff as a board develops strengthprimarily in the core where the muscles that connect the upper body and lower body as well as shoulders arms and glutes 

Steps To Follow: 

  1. Get into Push-up position on the floor.
  2. Bend your elbows 90 degrees and rest your weight on your forearms. 
  3. Now, elbows should be directly beneath your shoulders.
  4. Make sure your body should form a straight line from your head to your feet.
  5. Hold the position for as long as you can.
  6. Your goal should be to hold it for two minutes.
