100 Meter Dash (All Sports)

Time taken to run 100 meters on a track or hard surface.

The purpose of this test is to determine the maximum running speed, speed endurance and acceleration.

Procedure: The test requires the athlete to run a set distance of 100 meters, while the timing is recorded.

Start at the starting block with proper stance

Run on the stroke of the whistle or the gun.

Complete the run by touching the finish line.
